Make the extra lens earn its place
The separate portrait view is the concrete reason to investigate this step up. If you mainly check which species arrived, look at the standard model and the intended service entitlement before deciding the extra hardware is useful.
Compare equivalent packages, including solar and AI options, rather than the lowest number on each listing. The additional lens does not establish better night footage, identification accuracy or battery life: we have not measured those outcomes.
